The Beginning - The Soul Renewed

I crashed and burned with nowhere to turn

Then, lifting my head and eyes to the night sky

I surrendered and spoke

To Him aloft, repenting my past errors

Point by point I cleared my heart and mind

Later His blessings descended

In ways wondrous and glorious,

Placing me on the golden path

To HIm

To be born again, born again

Daily absorbing, drinking in His wisdom,

Slacking the long thirst

Then, that smile forms on your lips

Guided by heart and mind

By every particle of your being

Saying, I know that I know.

Never, ever give up.

Never, ever loose hope.
